Tank extension to provide external agitation point

Hi All, We have internal agitation point & the small slats need to be replaced from constantly taken them up. Not to mention, the fact that there are heavy & dangerous. I see there's a grant under tams to upgrade to an external point. Any one here extend a tank so that it could be agitated outside? Imagine it's a big job.

What width tank? Might be easier to just buy a manhole gang slat. I know it's not agitating outside, but way simpler than digging out the end of a tank.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.
