The way they're all treating Joel is terrible.

He's not my favourite housemate; I do find him dull, but I don't care if he's gay or straight and I think it's extremely offensive and intrusive of the housemates to be teasing him over his sexuality.

I think if you're gay or straight it's your own business and you should not be teased over it.

I also think this was all building up to tonight; it was only last week Aaron was asking Joel about him being a virgin and then tonight he was asking if he had any gay friends and recently it was about the music he liked.
I mean, give the lad a break, ffs.

If he IS gay, it's his own business and he shouldn't be almost "outed" on national telly by a drama queen nobody who seems to think he knows if someone's gay or straight.

Yeah. I more or less explained it all in my last couple of posts.

I don't believe that Joel was offended. I believe that if Joel was offended then Aaron would not have carried on, and the other housemates wouldn't have encouraged the behaviour the way that they did. I also don't believe Joel was being truthful in the diary room and I don't believe he has a right to complain about his private life being questioned or analysed, basically. My explanations as to why are in my previous posts.

Ah that's fair enough, thanks . I myself saw it the other way, a young lad not knowing how to deal with it whilst every one was laughing at him, then in the diary room he was telling the truth about how he felt like punching him if he kept it up... After Aaron was kicked out he then felt bad.
Imo a lot of 19yr old would have found it difficult to express themselves with some guy flashing them and everybody else laughing at them.
I saw it as aPeer pressure thing.

Aaron was a sex pest, glad he is gone.

I'm wondering if producers jumped at the chance to remove Aaron instead of giving a warning, knowing the drama would boost the ratings.

Imo, as someone else has said.. He was a sex pest. He had a thing for Joel, from the start of the show he was at it.
As many times before tonight with drink on him he honed in on him. Did he say he had over 200 partners? Over 4 years that's 1 per week ;).... How long have they been in the house?
Still think bb did the right thing.

Surprised one of the other housemates didn't step in and put an end to it. I think the right decision was made by BB. If that was Joel doing that to one of the twins he would have been arrested.

Joel simply wanted to save face and not look an idiot in public and be the party pooper. It doesn't mean he didn't feel uncomfortable.

On another note does anyone get irritated by the child's voice that Jade puts on when she keeps saying "somebody doesn't like me". It's a defence mechanism and she actually says it in a child's voice and it's so god dam annoying.

Sorry but this is politically correct nonsense.

It's the big brother house. They're all adults. They all volunteered for the experience. They all knew every conversation would be taped. If you're sexuality is any way questionable, it will be questioned. You know when you volunteer that this will be the case and it will all play out on TV.

That said I do think Aaron took it way too far egged on by that nasty little piece of work - Harriet. Clearly drink was the main contributory factor as it always is in these situations but it's never an excuse. Invading someones else's personal space while naked in that manner was never going to have any other outcome.

I hope Aaron learns from this. Curbing his drinking would be a good start.

Does anyone else remember BB6 when Craig had a major crush on that year's winner Anthony (who was straight)? There was one incident when Anthony was really drunk in the diary room and Craig was all over him. I saw that as pretty creepy behaviour, but Anthony handled it so well. I honestly feel that Aaron was just messing around and maintain that Joel was happy to play along. Just my observation!

Oh God yes! It's beyond irritating!

It was quite shocking, during all of that chaos, to see Harriet standing at the top of the room twerking. Full frontal twerking by a girl in that situation amounted to bullying, IMO - nothing more or less.

If Aaron had behaved like that at a football match, he would certainly have been arrested. Doing it on "National TV" would be no different. The fact that Joel put his case so eloquently in the Diary Room sealed the deal. In BB's favour, they had acted the night before by breaking it up and sending Aaron back to bed. Aaron knew at that time he was in big trouble, when he said to the still laughing housemates - "This is not funny!". It was sad to see Aaron so devastated, especially that he apologised to his Mum. Drink was partly to blame for everything that happened. Aaron did himself no favours and it will take him a long time to get over this whole episode.

As for Joel, as a budding politician, I think he had an eye to the future and wanted to set the record straight, there and then, stating categorically that he is a "straight man".

Also - Jade's "Somebody doesn't like me!" voice goes back to when she was a two-year old. A maniplative ploy! Probably worked for her at that age and she continues to use it in the present. Very annoying!

God yeah that voice Jade puts on, as if her normal one wasn't bad enough!!!

Haha and I don't think there is any debate that can say Aaron should have been left in, he had to go. His behaviour was ridiculous!

I found it hilarious, and his reaction to getting the news. No loss really, but wow he must be feeling bad today.

Like others mentioned, I really hope it's not Nikki or some other former BB contestant (unless it was Victor and that mad Scottish friend of his), give us some "normal" weirdo, not used to TV.

    Hear! Hear!

God - No! Nikki has had her day(s)! Victor has had his too! Surely there must be some also-ran applicants waiting at home for a call. Thousands must have applied. We don't need some camera savvy celeb wanna-be's, who are in the game of pushing ahead a (shaky?) career.

Aaron's behaviour towards Joel has been building up to something like this from the beginning. And it is being constantly encouraged by the other housemates. I found the truth or dare game really uncomfortable. If Joel doesn't want to kiss Aaron on the lips then he doesn't have to, simple as. Kieran was the only one to speak up and say, "You don't have to, Joel", and it was only then that Joel really asserted himself. It was almost like he was waiting for someone to give him permission to say no, while everyone else around him was shouting, chanting, with Harriet even calling him a pussy.

Joel might be gay. I wouldn't at all be surprised if he is. But he says he isn't, and you have to respect that. His behaviour in the bedroom spoke volumes to me; he was actually so uncomfortable with the situation that he couldn't sit down, couldn't go to bed, because he was afraid of leaving himself open or vulnerable to Aaron's antics. I am not at all surprised that he felt as though his personal space was violated. But a socially-aware nineteen year old like Joel isn't going to lose the plot in front of all of those laughing people. That doesn't mean he's okay with the behaviour.

And while Aaron shouldn't have done what he did, the other HMs need to share some of the blame, too. Aaron would not have continued his nudey charade if the others weren't breaking their sides laughing at him. Harriet in particular, offering to dress Joel in those rainbow shorts, was horrible.

I feel bad for Joel, because he's left to deal with the fall-out of Aaron's behaviour in the house, and it's possible others will be upset with him. I even feel a little sorry for Aaron, because while he's a total attention whore, he was entertaining at times. There was no malice behind his behaviour, but that said, it wasn't appropriate.

Oh, and +1 to Jade's awful baby voice. WTF is wrong with you, woman!?

I won't miss Aaron, he was annoying as fcuk. I feel a bit sorry for him though, he was really into the whole thing and he seemed gutted. But there you go.

So who do we think is going tonight? I'm thinking Sarah, Chloe, the twins and Danny. I hope Sarah stays though.

I cannot wait to see who goes in, hopefully its new people and not housemates from previous series.

A dominatrix off Babestation, a male stripper and someone with a face we all know!

You might be surprised by one of them. If to be believed then someone local is. I cant put up spoiler tags so wont divulge yet. But pm me if you want the answer.

Is it someone with a face we all know as in, someone with a face BB fans will know? Or someone local as in someone Irish?

Please don't tell me it's someone from
    Tallafornia!

    Actually, that would be hilarious.

Joel is clearly a man who is in denial of his sexuality. He is almost as camp as aaron.

I think aaron went too far but the stern warning was enough. Joels victim card in the diary room is why aaron was kicked out.
