Ok I knew it had to be Northern Europe.
I would have initially bet on it being Netherlands or Germany.
But there was a Saab in the pic as well.

Now should I go find a pic of a clump of grass or chance something else ?

I think I may have been guilty of it at points but some of the pictures recently have nothing to go on. There should be some identifiable feature I believe.

Agreed ... maybe a rule is needed to say that the picture should contain at least one distinctive element (people might not always agree about what is distinctive or not, but one definition could be that it must have a Wikipedia entry in any language).

Yeah but what is a distinctive element ?
If you have been somewhere that you remember then you will recognise or find some of the elements distinctive.
AFAIK someone got one of my efforts becuase they watched a bicycle race.

And the idea of making sure there is a wikipedia entry for a building, statue, bridge, etc in the pic is ridiculous and cuts the number of places drastically.

Anyway are we chatting or guessing ?

Yeah exactly - if someone bothered writing about it on Wikipedia hopefully there is something distinctive about it ;-) (and entries created on the same day as the picture is posted should be banned :-D)
