lads looking to buy a Vu+Duo2 from there and I think Dhl do the deliveries, I normally use parcelmotel for Amazon etc but I know if they don't put the PM number on the package it can a be a nightmare trying to track it down so just wondering has anyone used parcelmotel for packages coming from HM-Sat?

I bought a Duo2 from them recently and got it delivered directly. The delivery charge was just €7.00.

Did it take long from shipping to arrival at your door and was it DHL who delivered?

Took 7 days from order to delivery. Was handled by DHL in Germany and An Post in Ireland. I was able to track the whole way.

    Nice one !
They seem to have reduced their delivery charges considerably and added new payment methods too.
The delivery charge used to be a flat 20 euro and you had to pay by bank transfer but they now accept credit cards and Paypal .

What site did you track it on? Dhl or AnPost?

I ordered mine and it shipped yesterday only issue they put the house number in at the end of the address so I hope the DHL guys don't give it in to the wrong house! Also tracking number is coming up as invalid for some reason.

Have used HM Sat multiple times. great store and no issue with returns if needed.

Just get in touch with them if you have worries around delivery....they can always follow up for you

yeah just wondering on the tracking, I can check from my HM-Sat account and can track my package up until Friday in Germany, where it says preparing for shipping to destination country, but nothing after that. I'm just trying to get an idea on what day An Post will be delivering it as I want someone to be in the house. I've tried tracking it on AnPost's track and trace but tracking number is coming up invalid probably due to it being a DHL number.

I was able to use the DHL number in the An Post tracking system.

I ordered from this site on Thursday 21st and I am just wondering did everyone here who ordered get a tracking number for their package?
On my account it just says ready for delivery but it has been like that since Friday.

to answer the OP, why not use an Irish retailer, for example I bought my Vu+ Solo 2 from swordssatellites.
No issues with machine and nearby if there IS ever any issue with it !

Having said that, I just also bought a T90 Wall mount from HM and tracked it via DHLs site until it was delivered to An Post, then I could track it via their website !
took about a week door to door

I would gladly buy from an Irish retailer if they were good value.HM were by far the best value and only €7 postage.
Swordssatelite won't allow you to purchase Duo2 unless you go in store or pay by bank transfer. They were also €45 more expensive ,the postage was even more expensive than buying from Germany.

Be wary where you put the T90 up on that wall mount ,its not really suitable for the crazy winds we get in Ireland .
A set of TK brackets is alot stronger.

I'd try to keep it as low and as sheltered as possible if I were you .

Would 2nd that - Mine is ground mounted on a 60mm pole and sits about 6ft off the ground.

Saw great pics of someone who had 2 T90's roof mounted.....

Also bought from HM aong with roll of cable, switches, lnbs and an stb - no problems with delivery

    Contacted them today.
Package is only being sent out this afternoon,7 days after purchase. Was actually expecting to get it by tomorrow.I genuinely think there was some mess up,when I contacted them I got a response that it was being looked at and a hour later a follow email saying it was being dispatched.

Stock of Vu+ receivers seem to be very low in Germany at the moment. Hence the delay I would imagine! I Bought a solo+2 off Satkondor a few weeks back and again it was 5 days before dispatch where usually it's dispatched next day or same day if ordered before 13:00 hrs. Must be the upsurge in orders from outside of Germany as they used to throw a free adapter in the box but they are out of them as well!:(

Not the end of the world but it was marked as "Immediate Dispatch" would have been nice to get it for the weekend to give me plenty of time to play around with it.
    Always next weekend.
