    I've just launched a one-page site to bring awareness to Eanna Coughlan's situation in the Philippines. Is it effective?

    The main goals are:
    - Getting people to sign the petition on change.org
    - Getting people to share the information with friends.
    - Informing people.

    Quick to load, which is great. Just a couple of nit-picky things that caught my attention -

    On the countdown timer, I didn't know what it represented straight away as the text is hard to discern (days, hours, minutes...), so it would be worth using a lighter colour.

    The headline "12 Years Prison for Innocent Man?" triggers negative response for me - see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Betteridge's_law_of_headlines

    Otherwise best of luck, I hope some good comes of it.

    Thanks ThrowinShapes, those two points you raised make sense to me. My idea with the question mark was to draw people into the text by involving them(addressing them) but the reasoning of Betteridge's law trumps my own. Great advice, and I've taken action on both your ideas :) Thank you.
