    Man U v Juventus 1999

Man U playing away from home in the second leg were 3-1 down on aggregate. Keane picked up a booking that ruled him out of a final, but played the game of his life to help Utd score three times to win 4-3.

I wouldn't class the Liverpool - Milan game as a true comeback, seeing as how they didn't go on to win in normal or extra time, plus it was a neutral venue as opposed to Utd playing in Turin.

Athlone towns rod inspired mid season run in 2013 to catch longford who were 9 points clear. The win in strokestown road caused many a happy convoy on route back to the A town.

    Good thread

Red Sox v Yankees 2004 ALCS. Easily. Surprised nobody has mentioned it yet.

It's series like that that make me love sport

Tale a look at ESPN's 30 for 30 documentary "Four Days in October" - glorious!

The reason nobody mentioned it is because no Irish people watch Baseball.

Michael Schumacher at the 1995 Belgian Grand Prix. He started in 16th place, but went on to win comfortably in the rain.

Jenson Button in Canada a few years back was class too. From very last place to win it on the last lap thanks to keeping the pressure on Seb.

    Dublin's most loyal scouser, me.

One day I'll make it to an actual game to see my heroes.

Well that's clearly not true. Beats any of the single games comebacks people are trying to say here are the best ever. Even Istanbul

Def not the greatest but a great finish.

Looks like a fix. The lead worse practically went into reverse.

    Juventus?

Relegated May 2006 due to the Italian Football Scandal.

Promoted the following season winning Serie B.

Winners of Serie A the past 4 seasons while winning the Italian Cup this year too and also have a chance to be the first Italian club to ever do the treble if they win the Champos League Final.

Inter won the treble in 2010

Former Ireland Cricket coach Phil Simons was hit in the head by a fast ball when batting for the West Indies. His heart stopped beating, technically he was dead. He made a full recovery.

Several in cycling, but most them were drug fueled.

Ireland with the highest successful run chase to beat England at the cricket world cup in 2011 was pretty special

Ya that whole Champs League campaign was crazy and won't be done again in the same manner. They looked down-and-out so much.

    It was crazy.

Not a comeback as such but Munster's 'miracle match' against Gloucester was incredible.

Needed to score 4 tries and win by 27 points. Somehow they did it.

    Roy Keane for me :

It was the last day of the tour and Jack Charlton had told the players that they could do their own thing so long as they were back in time to make the coach to the airport. Some players "..went on the beer big time. Keane included."

Some of the players were so late that their bags had to be packed for them and loaded on the coach. When the errant players finally arrived "...clearly under the influence..."

Eventually the straggling footballers turned up for the bus. "Roy was the last on board, happy as a dandy and wearing a 'kiss me quick' hat. Mick tried to reassert control by having a little go off the new boy ... 'You call yourself a professional footballer?' Roy scarcely paused. 'And you call what you have a first touch?'.

Julio Cesar Chavez stopping Meldrick Taylor with two seconds left in the final round, when well behind on points, to win, retain his world titles, and maintain his incredible unbeaten record.

It was billed as the young wizard Taylor versus the old master Chavez, but Taylor outboxed him round after round, but didn't hurt him, leaving Chavez with energy for that late late rally, and a hugely controversial finish.

    Unbelievable. Canada 2011.
Just to annoy Hamilton fans, rosberg comeback yesterday was pretty good too :)

    Oh ya.

Cheick Kongo vs Pat Barry at UFC on Versus 4

Kongo was pretty much knocked out cold twice only to come back and knock out Barry. Incredible fight.
