Carpet for stairs - vertical stripes or plain (no pattern)

Glad of advice on getting stairs & landing carpeted - stairs is "half landing" type - 9 steps, then a landing, then a further 6 steps at 180degrees to first flight. Wondering which will be easier to fit & look better ? Will the vertical stripe carpet be difficult to keep lines straight in fitting and continuing through on…

Will the vertical stripe carpet be difficult to keep lines straight in fitting and continuing through on landing or is a non patterned ( plain) carpet easier to fit and more "relaxed" or neater looking ?

We got a striped carpet on ours earlier this year.
Small turn at bottom.

Think it looks well.
