Install more memory of same model memory

I've got 8GB currently and was looking to upgrade to 16. I have seen lots of advice against mixing memory, even of the same brand/model. If I install another 8GB of exactly the same model (but most probably from a different batch) am I looking for trouble?

Nope once its the same model your all good.
