About what were you using the term Schadenfreude in your first post?

The fact they they thought they were getting one thing and didn't get what they expected? doesn't equate to 'woo hoo hope they get slaughtered by terrorists' christ.

So now SJW is the new dismissive disparagement. De PC brigade has run it's course I suppose, so we need a new meaningless put-down so that we can shut people up out of hand.

The girls actions amount to going into ISIS controlled territory thinking they'd marry what they think are hero husbands.

They haven't, it seems, beheaded anyone or blown up people, but hey, lets talk like they're just as bad as those who do to legitimise the vitriol.

Care to answer the question ?

SJW....does it even mean anything any more? Did it ever?

Care to answer the question ?

What actions do you think they should bear the consequences of, and what consequences should they face for them?

You deriving enjoyment from their misfortune is quite different to you just not giving a crap about them, don't you think?

It means nothing, just usurps De PC Brigade and/or De Feminists as a meaningless dismissive.

Nope. I'm experiencing bitter joy at them being idiots, whilst also not particularly wishing for them to be slaughtered by terrorists, nor be assisted by peoples tax dollars to make it back to the west.

Nah just think of it as people high fiving each other over how concerned they are for people they do not know. Or trying to be the most outraged. :pac:

    Did they join?

I thought they were out to marry ISIS jihadis, not join ISIS? I haven't read that they joined anywhere.

So yeah, a basically meaningless dismissive used to demean and quell someone with an opposing point of view, just as much as it's used to describe someone with empty principles.

One more and you'll have a triple whammy.

'Outrage' is a term most often used to make someone who doesn't agree with your point of view look like an hysteric and therefore safely dismissed.

People aren't walking around strung out on the adrenaline of 'outrage'. They just don't agree with you.

Give us another one, go on.

Hahahaaha....you might as well quote Roger Melly's profanisaurus.

What exactly is the social justice you think these warriors are fighting for?

I don't see much in this thread beyond thinking that people hoping they get 'pistol whipped' or that their 'goatf**king husbands find them' is going too far.

Lets go with the legal age of voting.

Now, lets talk about the actions they should face the consequences of.

Going to Syria? Marrying brainwashed Jihadis?

Or are we going to pretend they bombed and beheaded people and should be locked up for life, at 15, 15, and 16 years old?

No, Most are just saying they are responsible for their own actions. What age are people responsible for their actions ? Its the other side going off on tangents about wanting bad things to happen to them. As per usual if you don't agree you support xyz.

I think they should be allowed to marry whoever they want to.

You want them to face the consequences of their actions.

What actions, and what consequences do you want to see addressed?

I would go with joining a terrorist group/supporting it. Laws dealing with that in Their jurisdiction.

Okay. So what do you think a 15 year old in the early 90's who thought the IRA was a freedom fighting force should have faced, legally?

Lets say, for argument, that they gave out pro IRA pamphlets at school, thus distributing material in support of an outlawed organisation?

Ireland has laws dealing with this.

No one is saying do not enforce the law, we are just saying the law must take into account the village idiots.
