(I was hoping for a double shantay, just because there'd still be five queens for a makeover next week.)

Katya joins the ranks of past queens who've been breakout fan favourites and sent sashaying. At least she's practically guaranteed Miss Congeniality.
Has there ever been a breakout favourite who's hit top three? I don't really count Bianca, since she was set to win from the start.

Say there will be a few unhappy campers with last nights episode. I'm dissapointed with the elimination as there is no way she deserved to go. Defo top 3 material. Or top 4. Well, I think we all know who the winner is now unless they throw us another curve ball

Distraught is not the word for it. I was loving this episode until really it hit home who was lip syncing. Queen who stayed held back literally NO punches and that jump off the stage really eclipsed eliminated queen's flips. Disappointed beyond belief

Maybe I'm just being bitter but queen who stayed seemed to not know the words and tried to mask it by flipping everywhere and shaking her head around?
As much as I love certain queens who are left I feel like we lost the only deserving winner this episode. If I had $100,000 I'd give it to her.

At the same time I really wanted the queen who went home to give more, it killed me when she seemed frozen on the spot while the other one was in full swing.

SPOILERS:

I think Kennedy really didn't embody the song at all at parts. You could see Katya was waiting for the crescendo to hit before making with the splits and jumps but at that stage Kennedy was already giving off so much energy the camera, and judges, couldn't stop watching her. Really question why Kennedy was throwing at wig around but anyway...

I'm not sure how this final will pan out now. To be honest I wouldn't really mind seeing Violet taking the crown, or Ginger if she stops being so negative for no reason. Pearl, although I was a fan originally, doesn't deserve it with the rocky start and somewhat questionable standard currently. Kennedy as much as I credit her talent just doesn't appeal to me in that way as past winners have.

Absolutely devastated. Genuinely.

Kennedy should not have won that lip-sync. Too much acrobatics so early on in the song, she forgot the words and she broke a rule - she left the stage during the performance, something Ru said queens were no longer permitted to do. Katya played it perfectly, but it goes to show, loud and in your face gets more attention that subtle and meaningful.

I don't want Ginger to win. I don't want Kennedy to win. I don't think Pearl will win and at this point I think either Violet or Ginger have it in the bag, and honestly, I'd rather see Violet take it just so Ginger doesn't.

A great episode BTW, we got a design challenge which saw the queens have to make outfits and we got to see it as a viewer (shock horror) and the added element of Hello Kitty was fun, if not a little heavy handed and cheesy product placement.

I'm still gutted Katya is gone.

I honestly want to sit RuPaul down and make her watch the whole season back again and force her to realise the mistake she made. They basically had Katya narrate the whole season just to kick her off at the final stage? Bullshít! She's the winner for the fans.

I really did like Katya but I honestly didn't even remember she was there until about episode 5 and then her true personality shone through. And I became very fond of her. But i am and have been Team Ginger since episode 2 I think. I honestly don't see any other winner. Mind you in saying that Violet has never been in the bottom and Ru clearly sees something in Pearl and Kennedy that I am missing so I guess anyone could take it really. Still backing Ginger though.

Minj for the win! Hmm bet that's not a sentence we say often around here is it....

Hilarious video! Alaska is really good at Leganja and the joke Jinkx did about Michelle's vagina being so old is actually an old Joan Rivers joke I thought, so surprised Sharon didn't any anything, seeing as she is playing Joan right beside her.

I personally don't think Katya was that amazing on the show - ruflections and rugrets have been where her personality really shone through. She definitely had great moments on rpdr but I just don't see the same popularity being there without YouTube.

Now I do think she didn't deserve to go, but will it matter to her success in the long run? Not really, she'll be a break out star.

As for Kennedy and her breaking rules, in all honesty...if Katya had done that split, the people currently hurling abuse at Kennedy on Twitter would all be going "YASSS GAWD BITCH WERK SICKENING MAWMA".

I don't like Miss Congeniality being a fan vote, its nothing but a consolation prize for queens we think were robbed at this point (and I love Ben!). If the queens voted on MC and there was another vote for fan favourite I'd be happy.

Can't say I'm all that excited for the rest of the season now. Katya is gone and I can't see Ru picking anyone else but Ginger as this seasons winner. Possibly Violet but we will have to wait and see how tonight's episode goes. I suppose Pearl is the one I am interested in now. I hope Kennedy goes this week. I shall never forgive her for sending Katya home.

Taking a risk of upsetting some with this post but here goes:

Kennedy won that lipsynch hands down and Katya lost. She got in her own head throughout that challenge and as a result she was rightly in the bottom 2. A lipsynch for your life us supposed to be balls to the wall and Kennedy slayed the hell out of it

I agree. I love Katya, am devastated she left, but Kennedy did turn it out. Fair enough you might not agree with her style in that particular song (it was wild, chaotic and a little crazy), but I couldn't keep my eyes off her. She done all the moves of Katya's one step ahead and as a result all eyes were peeled on her.

Anyone watching some of the Drag Con stuff on YouTube? I am 100% going next year!! ^^
