can someone work out cubic metres of concrete I need

    I have 2 3/4 metres of concrete ordered for tomorrow but not sure if I need more, can someone tell how much is needed for these areas in total

    17ft x 9and half ft

    20ft x 3 ft.. Both areas are 4 inces deep

    Please help figures is not my strong point

    I make it around 2.1 metres

    Brake it down to metres
    Width * length * depth

    Your area is 17x9.5 + 20x3 = 221.5
    1/3 of a foot deep so73.8cu ft
    73.8ft³= 2.089783m³

    Yep you have loads.
    Pouring onto dug ground tends to take more than measured as it will be uneven and some water will be lost into the ground too. Still is only measuring alittle over 2 cubic metres so you have ordered the right amount imo.
