    The discrepancy most likely is the result of the scrip dividend. I know DWT is withheld on the scrip divi so the higher amount is most likely to be the correct amount to use to calculate CGT. There are several documents on the CRH website which discuss the scrip, alternately contact their shareholder relations department for a clear stear.
