Mounting a Kryptonite fahgettaboudit mini to a road bike, can it be done?

Up to this point, I've been leaving locked in college and sticking my cable lock around the seat post so that I have some form of lock for short errands and what not. However, now that summer is approaching and I'll be using my bike as my primary mode of transport to other destinations that aren't college, I would like a way of mounting my fahgettaboudit to my road bike so that I don't necessarily have to always carry it in my rucksack (and thus rid myself from the inevitable sore and sweaty back). Is this at all possible? I'm 90% sure that I can't mount a rear rack onto my bike.

You say you can't fit a rear rack, which is a pity, as that is the way I figured out:

Not much use to you though. You could experiment around the notion of locking it round the top tube and the down tube. You'd maybe need to fix something on the tubes to the fore of the lock to stop the lock sliding around.

I have a U-Lock holster I got from Bagjack. Few other companies make them, could easily do it yourself.

I use a Kryptonite Evolution LITE Mini-6 which has a protection level of 7 vs the fahgettaboudit's 10. This is my carry around quick stop lock while the fahgettaboudit is my parking lock which usually lives at work.

I'll have to think about which lock to use when touring...
