Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey guys,

Going to San Sebastian with a few friends who are all good surfers, i was thinking about saying to them that maybe we should rent a few boards for a few hours. Im like 18 stone and just under 6ft does a board have weight restrictions? Like could i break it, and then have to pay them for the board!? Complete novice, never surfed before just an idea of something to do for a few hours instead of getting drunk!

    Cheers

It will probably be a foam board you'll be on since you're a novice, weight won;t be an issue with those.

Get a lesson from a surf school you'll be fine. Enjoy the holiday

They usually offer insurance too in case you get drunk after surf session and lost you Surfboard or someone takes it ;) Enjoy as for weight you should be fine

Lessons is greatest idea and most of the fun as you will be learning with same level as you are and won't be frustrated in-between pros;)
