Passenger electric window not working, any ideas?

I have just bought a toyota avensis and have discovered the front passenger window does not work.
There is no noise from it and I have checked the fuse .
I can't get passenger window to move from the drivrrs panel either and its not the disable switch as all other windows work.
What should I check next or is it something obvious that needs replaced

    Thanks in advance

Best thing to do is pull the switches out and check the electrical circuit. You should have 12v sitting on one side of each switch. If you don't the problem is back further towards the fuse box. If there is voltage at the switches operate the switch and see if your getting voltage across the switch. If not the switches are faulty. If you are getting voltage across the switches your next stop is the motor inside the door. Pull the door card and repeat the process of checking for voltage.

Its possible that someone , accidentally or deliberately , has left the plug off the motor.
Sometimes there can be a break in one or more of the wires where they go from the door pillar into the door - but this tends to happen mostly on the drivers door as its used more .
