    More Barcelona imho

Most neutrals like barca , I think Chelsea is a better comparison.

I don't like mayweather and don't find his boxing style anymore enjoyable than klitchkos.

I awknowledge he is a superb athlete and an amazingly smart tactical boxer. Some of his greatest traits are avoiding being hit while running around the ring and clinging to his opponent. It's not exactly stuff of legends!

Dissapointing fight as we all feared. Neither fighter did much damage. Floyd was just that much better nevertheless.

This interviewer... wow... not even letting manny reply properly and is pulling away the mic.

Anybody that don't see the genius or skill there should go back to other sports

You should audition for a commentators job with Sky. Way OTT. Genius for what? Giving away more ground to a smaller man and pot shotting here and there with less than impacting offensive shots? His not getting hit and way OTT cautious approach gets far too much credit.

ah mate stop mayweather has a great defense but its heavily subsidised by holds its not the right way to box theres a reason people dislike him and its not all outside the ring

He didn't hold much to be fair.

No dignity from the Pac Man.

If you want scrapping watch UFC
If you want to watch a master craftsman at his best watch Mayweather box

Showing your ignorance with combat sports there.

MMA is "scrapping"? I hope your trying to get a cheap rise out of people...

He landed far more meaningful shots than Pacquaio

A warrior like Manny doesn't really consider what Mayweather does to be real boxing. I can fully understand that he thinks he won it.

Was this a home town decision?

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

Don't agree with that, Mayweather stopped Manny from closing the distance and picked him off at will. He took control of the fight from the start and apart from a couple of times getting pinned on the ropes he dominated.

It was up to Manny to close the distance and he didn't seem to have a plan A or B

I didn't see that at all. I saw Mayweather backing up for the vast majority of the fight but it mattered little because Paci couldn't lay a glove on him.

Even when he chose to stand he was only throwing single shots that were never going to rock Paci.

How did Mayweather stop Manny from closing the distance?

By running and putting even more between them.

Time for these two lads to hang up the gloves.and retire I'd say. Get put while still at the top...

Had it 116-112 to Mayweather, was in complete control throughout. Still a disappointing effort by Manny.

I got the same scorecard as two judges and I gave it round by round.

It wasn't a fight for high octane excitement but it was a master display of skill, knowledge and ring craft by Mayweather.

Manny was nowhere near winning that fight, he won 4 rounds and that was generous

    Exactly, he runs

Floyd running from Pacquiao, everyone unhappy about it but still probably the better fighter.

But enough about the last 10 years, how was the fight?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,994 ✭✭✭✭Charlie19

Ah well, I guess the best boxer won. At least it was a better match up compared to the previous three fights.

Surprised at Pacquio claiming the win at end, but the man is still a gent.

Did manny just say he thought he won just because he knew he lost LOOOOL

You'd see a better fight in a primary school playground

You at least give some credit to your opponent who outboxed/thought you. That is what boxing is, hit and don't get hit!

The usual by floyd as i thought made him look ordinary like all before him. Disappointed in manny saying he won the fight after. Take it on the chin you were outclassed mentally physically technically. Floyd puts it all the bed the best of his generation if not all generations

The world snooker semi-final and the u21 all-ireland football final were far more entertaining:cool: then this lets be honest!

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

And lands at will, what's the issue?
