    Extreme-arse-kissing is one I'm sure you'd recommend?

Manny was nowhere near winning that fight, he won 4 rounds and that was generous

In his head he's prob thinking that only one fighter seemed hurt in that fight and it wasnt him. I can appreciate Mayweathers talent but thats wouldn't pass for boxing where Manny comes from... you just wouldn't get on the card!!

They were very good shots - I doubt many could take them

    A masterclass from Mayweather.

The fight went exactly as I said it would. Exactly. Multiple times.

Frankly you don't need to be a boxing savant to see it. People talking about a Mayweather or Manny KO are in the clouds. This fight was only ever going to go one way. Floyd on points. I had it 116-112 but you could make an argument for 117-111.

    Lands what?
He barely landed a punch in the whole fight.
At least pacquio tried to land a few punches

It wasn't a fight for high octane excitement but it was a master display of skill, knowledge and ring craft by Mayweather.

From someone who doesn't watch much boxing it looked like Mayweather did exactly what he needed to do to win. Nothing more and nothing less. I had him winning rounds with a single connecting punch. If aggression was scored I'd have Manny winning, but it's not. I can definitely see how a boxing aficionado would have got a lot of Mayweather's tactics, defense, and delaying but for someone looking for excitement rather than boxing craft it didn't offer much. All that being said I like Manny but I'd love to see Mayweather thumped, which looks unlikely given his skill.

thats not true as champion level boxers go mayweather punches like an asthmatic blowing through a straw

forget mayweather... the real winners here are the people who went to bed at a normal hour... this will take me many days to recover from :(

I think the problem is that a fight this big draws in a lot of non-boxing fans who've watched more boxing movies than actual fights. I wanted to see some Rocky level, all out slug feast....fighting defensively, backing away, utilizing your reach, all things that are a huge part of boxing just seem kinda 'meh' to the untrained eye.

Aggression is scored. But you have to land punches and Mayweather never lets his opponents do it.

    A few rocked Manny

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,239 ✭✭✭qwabercd

Played out as expected really. I don't think Manny really believed he won, he didn't act like if after the fight finished. Max kellerman was being an awful d1ck though.

I think his questions hurt Manny more than the punches he took.

    when exactly was manny "rocked"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,084 ✭✭✭✭Kirby

Manny was never rocked EFB. Outboxed....but never rocked. Mayweather doesn't have the power to stop top level fighters. He hasn't legitimately knocked anybody out in donkeys years.

He doesn't need it anyway. He outboxes everyone.

Nobody disagrees with the outcome, we're just sick of your brown-nosing.

People will not remember Mayweather as a great

They will remember him as a boxer/coward who only agreed to fight boxers after their prime and as a scared little man

No they don't EFB. I cant claim that Mayweather rode in on a unicorn and then say "The score cards validate me!" because its not relevant. He wasn't rocked. Stop being a child.

    Brown nosing whom???

The overhead right, the uppercut and the right hook rocked Manny.

Do sky feel obligated to try to brain wash people with their bull?
Phrases such as Ultimate masterclass, mayweather could step up five gears, a whooping, etc
    Complete nonsense
