I think he has it all learned. Not much learned actually. That's a natural great talent.

    With plenty of work too

    Like ?

    I could list a few,

    Stop complaining to the ref
    Stop pawing your opponent
    Hit your shots with conviction
Put power and step into your punches
Realise that hitting someone lightly in the forearm is a waste of effort

Don't get me wrong he has the makings of a good fighter but as I said a lot to learn.

His cardio engine seems excellent when you consider all the actions and movements as well as the punching.

Possibly, but still way too much stuff going on that doesn't need to be going on. Anyway, he is a great boxer and want to see him take on the best now. Oh, and fooking learn bloody English.

    Like Roberto Duran?
    Like Carlos Monzon?

How much would the purse for that fight have been roughly?

Ricky Hatton should be added to that list.

I don't think he needs to learn this. It's not his offensive way. He doesn't commit like you say.

    Well below 1% I'd imagine.

Irrelevant. I am well aware that some very good boxers didn't speak English.

It's 2015 now and these lads are plying their trade in the biggest English speaking market on earth. It's sage advice to go and converse in the language.

    Gets inside the refs head
Jabs soften him up opens him up
Throwing nothing but power punches wastes energy

There's comes a time in fight if u keep getting hit low repeatedly you have to let the ref know

He does paw on occasion in rounds a habit from his amateur point scoring background.

When he wants and feels time is right he let's go with conviction hence why that fight finished early

    You've only made two points.

He complained, because when he boxed Salido he was hit low over and over again and never said a thing and the ref never did anything about it. So he learned from that.

In terms of not putting full power in every punch (cos that's effectively what you said in the other four points), he varies the speed and power of his attack. It's a tactic used by some of the very best, keeping the opponent guessing and catching them by surprise when he ups the power. That's actually an 'old school' trick. It also prevents him tiring out earlier as he would if he was putting power in every shot.

There's very little this guy doesn't know about boxing.

Just for the record, Lomachenko would eat Selby alive.

Is there any way I can order the ppv on upc now? Can't find the option anywhere or a decent stream and it's doing my head in.

LSC would be a nice test for Loma. Tough and busy and heavy handed. Fit and tenacious, as well as aggressive.

Looks like Manny and Floyd will be in the ring before 0500.

That's irrelevant. Canelo is a superstar and he doesn't speak English.

I will tune in to watch Lomachenko box every chance I get. I have very little interest in his (or any boxer's) interviews. His boxing will make him a star.

100% Walshb but don't you know the English will build him up & up until he gets a good boxing lesson from Lomachenko or a devastating KO from Walters

I rate Selby very highly. He is a world class fighter and just because he's not as good as an exceptional boxer like Lomachenko, doesn't make him a bad fighter.

I wouldn't label Canelo a superstar. Manny and Floyd are the two superstars of global boxing. Both can converse in English. It helps IMO.

LSC has the guy from Breaking Bad in his corner, the one who's head ended up on the turtle
