First world problem. Get over it just a few lads having a laugh.

Second wordl War was just a bit of banter. Some Austrian on a five-year stag party, all good all good.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

What I'm amazed at is that they persisted with the shenanigans throughout the time they were there, literally until the publican would tolerate no more escalation. That's some incredible display of pack mentality; imagine the looks, disdain and eventually dishing-down you'd get for carrying on like that... But they stuck by their guns, in spite of it being an unpopular, nay, universally despised, concept. You'd want to be an absolute c... hancer. A complete d... ivil.

Not sure if you were going to say c*nt or cork person at the end, because a lot of that is appropriate to how the rest of the country see them.

I'm sorry to say it but a % of Irish people are definitely becoming more and more like the English soccer hooligan yobs the world despises.

A bit more of this and we'll be as popular !

We're already getting s terrible reputation in Australia due to the yobbish behaviour of a % of hard partying holiday visa types. Students trashing houses in California while using the J1 programme as one big piss up etc etc

It was 70 years yesterday since Hitler shot himself.
    Really makes you think.

The Czechs can feel free to have as many stag parties as they want in my father's pub dressed as the Cairo Gang, because I refuse to be offended by references to the events of last century.

    Perfect example of mob mentality.
Ask one of these lads to don a Hitler mask on their own & wear it in Prague & not one would do it.
Being part of a crowd however makes it acceptable by trying to fit in.
See also racist football chanting, herd mentality.

    That's very brave of you.

Sadly an even more sinister version of herd / mob mentality brought Hitler to power in the first place!

A total elimination of Lad Culture is the only reference to the Nazi's that I want

Did...did you just compare the Nazis to the Cairo Gang? What?

Enlighten me so you tit, as to what the Cairo Gang actually did (with sources)?

Disgusting behaviour. They really should have known better. When you go abroad you sort act as a representative of your country and these idiots failed spectacularly on that count.

It'll be something they can cringe about for the rest of their lives. Lucky fellas.

At face value that's all it seems to be really,a few corkonian cousins went on the tear and it got out of hand,I highly doubt the fellows in question meant any disrespect.Sh1t happens. Plenty of publicity for the proprietor of the pub i notice,so you'd have to find his claims a little dubious. Its all very well going on the radio to complain, but is there any photographic evidence to back it up?
I'm sure a weekend drinking destination is well covered by CCTV

Won't bother them, they'll probably say they were just following orders

    Bunch of idiots.

I hate the way cause we are Irish we think we are funny and clever and that sure we're only up for laugh.

Should have been arrested and locked up. Hey I love good stag as any man but ****ing common sense would not go astray with these lads.

And some will think I'm ott . have you ever read a History book? Is my reply.

Who in that group though it would be a good idea? Its common knowledge on the mainland to generally "Don't mention the war" or at least no Hitler jokes unless your calling him a ****. At the very least they must have known the following would happen

    1. People will be offended
    2. We won't make friends with the locals
    3. We won't get served
    4. It'll increase the chance of a scrap
    5. We'll look like a bunch of Dicks

Guy in my local bar used to slap girls on the arse when he was drunk. I wanted to cave in his face every time he done it.
Anyway, every country has a minority of prats. Ours just happened to go on tour unfortunately.

It's not so much the history books - I'm sure they're well aware of the history - but it's respect of local cultures that seems to go out the window when you Irish and you go abroad for yhe first time.

Why are lads dressing up for stag weekends anyway. It seems to be a more recent thing as I never encountered it until three years ago.

Someone should find out where the wedding is and get a large group to show up absolutely hammered in Red Army uniforms and photobomb the photographs.
