Cork lads wore Hitler masks on a stag party in Prague.

What a bunch of fcuking muppets tbh.
Drunken Irish revellers who wore Hitler masks just yards from a Jewish quarter while on a stag party in Prague have been branded a “truly repulsive” and an “embarrassment to Ireland”.

Publican Frank Haughton also said men in the group from Cork verbally abused locals who raised objections; slapped his female staff on their buttocks; and launched into a tirade of sexually offensive comments.

He said he has welcomed tens of thousands of stag parties to his venues over the last 22 years — 90% from Britain and the rest from Ireland.“We get quiet ones, good ones, bad ones but rarely truly repulsive ones,” he said.“There are two in the ‘truly repulsive’ category that really stand out and it is with sadness and shame that I must state that both came from Ireland.”

The Cork group which visited his bar on April 24 was the worst he has ever encountered, he said.

“The group of about 25 or 30 guys from Cork who were here last weekend should be absolutely ashamed of their behaviour,” he said.

“They were a disgrace to themselves, their families, and a huge embarrassment to Ireland.

“The sad part is that these guys were of mixed ages, some of whom should have known better. But their language, their inability to have any respect for anything, was repulsive. These guys just didn’t give a damn.”

Mr Haughton owns Caffrey’s on Prague’s Old Town Square, and the James Joyce, recently ranked among one of the top 10 Irish bars in the world.

The stag party from Cork, men ranging in age from their mid 20s to mid 50s, arrived at Caffrey’s the weekend before last, a short distance from Prague’s Jewish Quarter, and began drinking in the bar’s outdoor seating area. Trouble flared when they donned Hitler masks, swastika armbands, and other Nazi paraphernalia.

“This was not just insensitive but their abuse of quiet elderly customers who pointed this out was shameful and their vulgar treatment of waitresses as sex objects — words cannot describe,” Mr Haughton said.

“Their excuse was ‘we can do what we want’.”

The bar manager eventually stopped serving them and asked them to leave.

I'm all for a laugh and all, but Cmon lads. I wonder how they'd have felt if a load of English stags came to Cork on a stag wearing Cromwell masks?

All stag parties should be obliged to be accompanied by a responsible adult.

The likes of that would probably think they were masks of James May rather than Cromwell

    Absolute disgrace.

How dare he refuse to claim the Brits are worse.

"eventually". I wonder how much messing, groping of barmaids and abuse of other punters he put up with before he stopped taking their cash?

Being from Cork, I am aware of the hatred and disdain some people have towards Cork people.

    We're not all bad.

Then I read something like this and think, you're absolutely right.

I look at moron's like that, point at them and say you are the reason why people hate Cork people.

    It was just 'banter'.

    'Epic banter' even.

    Perhaps it reached 'next-level banter.'

As a Corkman you have to laugh, we have some folk down here who get offended by Kerry, Kilkenny and Dublin jerseys yet some clowns go away and do this. Bunch of langers.

Seriously though I worked in a sports store and one lad would regularly come in and complain that we were selling Kerry jerseys, he'd often move them behind the Cork jerseys.

    They made them themselves.

Hen parties take 'How to make cocktails' classes
Cork stag parties do Nazi Arts and Crafts

    Ban billionaires

That has to have been planned ahead.

There's s bit of a problem with certain Irish and British people thinking that the Nazis were funny characters from Allo Allo.
The reaction to them in the rest of Europe is very different and people would become very upset and offended.

Also, you've a live neo nazi movement in many Eastern European countries and in Germany so you could easily find a stag party being arrested. Germany in particular has very harsh laws around anything celebrating or promoting nazism.

A British Tory MP organised a similar event in France too !!

What I'm amazed at is that they persisted with the shenanigans throughout the time they were there, literally until the publican would tolerate no more escalation. That's some incredible display of pack mentality; imagine the looks, disdain and eventually dishing-down you'd get for carrying on like that... But they stuck by their guns, in spite of it being an unpopular, nay, universally despised, concept. You'd want to be an absolute c... hancer. A complete d... ivil.
