The "Peru Two" - what are they up to?

    The Bali nine story got me thinking of the Peru Two and their arrest for cocaine smuggling. Are they languishing in a Peruvian jail? And what would have happened to them if they were caught in Indonesia?

    Just wondering...

    It's sad they don't get more support. There was a documentary about the prison they where sent to and it is full of women used by men to smuggle drugs. There were a number of women who'd been used by the same guy.

    I'd say they're thinking they are glad their flight was to Peru and not Indonesia.

    Just seen you other posts and you seem to have much sympathy for drug mules who knowingly break the law. Hopefully they keep her as long as possible, teach her and others a lesson.

    I dunno from what I remember, they didnt seem the types who were pushed into it by an abusive partner, more like they got a free trip to peru and a couple of grand.

    What? Which other 'drug mules' have I shown sympathy for? She's a young girl with her whole life ahead of her. She's learned her leason. Back to a comfy jail in Ireland and then freedom soon enough hopefully.

    The ones in Indonesia last week. She should have thought of that before she chose to break the law. Let her rot away no one cares about her anymore apart from family and a few bleeding hearts who think people should be allowed break laws at will.

    She's just waiting for the Peruvians to sign off and then she's coming home. It shouldn't be long. Great news for everyone except nasty people who want her to suffer despite knowing nothing about her.

    Everyone knows plenty. Shes was muleing drugs and got caught. She should serve he sentence where she broke the law and was convicted.

    Are we supposed to feel sorry for her? She's a grown woman who knowing broke the law in a country with a well-known and long record of harsh sentences for drug mules.

    She was sent to prison, she learned her lesson. She'll be home in Ireland soon and be able to get on with the rest of her life. It doesn't affect you one bit.
