Stud partition in bedroom - do I need ventilation?

I am splitting a double bedroom into 2 singles by putting up a stud wall with rock wool insulation to help sound proof. There will be a window in each room. Do I also need to add ventilation by putting an air vent over the doors or something like that?

No need for that. The window is sufficient

Ventilation means that air passes through the room. So it needs a way in, and a way out. This is typically achieved by an opening on the wall - either the window or a ventilation hole and the small gaps around the door to the room. Here is a fun game. On a breezy day go to any room in your house and close it till just a crack, the width of your little finger or less remains open. Now put your face up to the crack and you ought feel a breeze. This is the natural ventilation for the room.

Si ideally you want a trickle vent on the window or a ventilation hole. And you want a door which is not a perfect airtight seal.

Ventilation requirements are specified in building regulations: http://www.environ.ie/en/Publications/DevelopmentandHousing/BuildingStandards/FileDownLoad,1647,en.pdf
