20:05 if there are any clear skies from Drogheda westwards, cast your eyes skywards for a KC-10 westbound as HOIST 61. FL360.

I've seen it come over DUB a few times.

I actually laughed at the reg of this ACJ over Donegal. Mr Bus!

Was operating previously with Global Jet Luxembourg but was returned from lease. Seems to have a new owner who flies between Moscow and New York...

Lots of gliders out in England today. Must be great gliding conditions.

Could you post your radar box log later, Andy?

Interested in a Portuguese C295 (3434D6) that was over Ireland earlier.

Not a problem. Only reason theres been none on the last few days is due to trailing new antenna's.

I think I saw this lining up today. I was at the junction of Long Mile and Naas Roads, must have been landing on runway 23.

Yep landed Baldonnel Monday afternoon. Straight in from Lisbon I think.

Should be on LiveATC Dublin Control around 15:00 local.

Edit: jump to 28 minutes mark here. Portuguese Air Force 65 inbound to Baldonnel VOR approach runway 29 on Monday.

    Today's hop was from 12:15 to 13:00.

Sounds like a training mission. 20:30 minute mark here:

Looks like it departed Cork southbound around 13:50.

Did you not read the post above? Fairly ignorant IMO to completely ignore it. Links won't work in a few mins.

Anyone know the reason for the diversion.

Just spotted that Norweigan flight over Corofin, thought it was unusual as we don't get many flights directly overhead like that, especially at such a low altitude. Looked at flghtradar and saw it was being diverted to SNN. Would also be curious as to the reason for diversion.

It was diverted due to an abusive/disruptive passenger, night in the cell tonight and then Ennis court house probably tomorrow.

    Nice mistake on F24. :)

Apparently, the Irish Air Corps are currently flying in Kenya from Wilson to Lodwar.

Irish Coast Guard Dublin just on VHF Channel 83 talking with a boat squawking an emergency code. ATC got in touch with ICG to investigate. I could only hear the ICG side. They were asking if they have any heli's.

I think they are talking with HNLMS DE ZEVEN PROV currently off the coast of Balbriggan.

Barman from Miami, Fined €1,000.00 with 30 days to pay or 28 days jail, Norweigan said it cost them €100,000.00 for new fuel and landing charges

The LHR-MAN service ended 31st March. The others run out in September.

My understanding is that this penalty can only apply because the Norwegian 787 is Irish-registered.

If it was en route over Ireland but UK-registered, for example, Ireland would have no jurisdiction over the passenger assuming he ceased his conduct prior to the doors opening. They would have had to divert to a UK airfield to disembark him, assuming they wished to press charges.

Note: layman's understanding of aviation law from reading 'stuff' in the Interwebs
