We were not talking about ultra pure water, we were talking about tap water and rain water which does conduct electricity, and very well I must add.

He was backing up Pred racers earlier point about the impurities of the water been the conductor

    I think

Do you think I didn't know that and I was putting the point across that ultra pure water is very rare, and is not in puddles and does not fall from the sky or come from your tap.

Working in citywest this week my God getting out of there in the evening is a horror

I dont like traffic so I usually stay back in work for an extra hour, get home the same time as if I left at 6 o'clock. However I am sure citywest is much worse than what I face.

I've heard of few horror stories about people power washing engine bays but I can't see how you would have any issues once you don't go mad on it and use some comon sense as to where you are directing the jet of water. I personally have never tried it but then I'm not overly fussed about how clean the engine bay is as long at there are no coolant oil or fuel leaks and its dry from that perspective a bit of dust on some of the plastic covers wouldn't bother me.

Not ideal so. No the car I'm buying has two Pirelli on the front fairly new at least 6mm on them and probably more two barum on the back again reasonably new looking with even more thread on them. I kind of hate binning practically new tyres but I'll see how I get on with them. There would be a fair power difference too between your focus and this :pac:

Ya to be fair I just think better off having good performing tyres on car like the St anyway. Didnt have them on long enough to have issues really. Might be fine on more standard cars...

They're budget continentals. Advance sell them for silly money.

My experience of them is that they grip ok but are a bit on the soft side.

They are certainly a cut above the usual Chinese plastic. They are a long established tyre manufacturer now owned by one of the major brands (Continental maybe? Not sure)

As in silly cheap or expensive ? Id say I'll leave them on it for a while. At least there are decent tyres on the front I hate having to buy four tyres together two is a lot less painful.

By the sounds of it the barum are far from the best tyre but still better than the cheap chinese brands.

Actually the new car has a gearshift indicator never seen the point of them all it does is tell you to change up when your trying to drive it on :)

The only time I could think of where they are useful is if your driving along thinking your in fifth but are in forth.

Is it just me or does the fluence look like it's sitting about a foot off it's wheels?
