Those Union Jack waving divs you're referring to probably all hate the Germans as well, oblivious to the the fact that those they fawn over are a bunch of Germans

Are they? How many generations do they have live in the UK before becoming British? Do you think the same length of time should apply in regards to other immigrants?

I'm no fans of the royals but the above just pisses me off.

What member of the Royle family scored in a FA Cup Final?

    Joe Royle.

    That only works in speech.

I've no interest in the British Royal Family whatsoever, but I do have an interest in football.
Can you tell me in which FA Cup Final Joe Royle did score that goal, I can't seem to find it?

I remember having a conversation with two girls in work (well women) and I came in at the end of the conversation. They said they were talking about how mean the media are to Kate Middleton. They were very distraught and saying 'poor kate', 'its not fair on kate'

Turns out one of them read somewhere that some fashion person was criticizing her for wearing high street clothing like Top Shop. They said 'sure isn't she great, she doesn't care what they say, she wears topshop anyway.'

I just thought, Wow what an amazing woman!

If only us plebs possessed that level of courage.

It's right up there with people talking about how 'brave' they were being to take a photo of themselves without slap on during last years 'no makeup selfie' whateveritwas. Brave? Wat? I'm a hero nearly every day of the week if that's the case!

Anyone watch skint last night? Prince Charles visiting this dump of a city in Wales. A passing visit in his Bentley and he stopped to shake hands of his subjects in the town behind police barriers. I'd be embarrassed if I was him.

Bunch of unelected, benefit-scrounging, inbred fúckwits.

People who fawn over them, or give a shit about them at all just baffle me.

I could not have put it better myself.

Where I am no fan of the Royal family, any money they do scrounge from the state is more then made back by tourism...

    But yeah, snobby pricks ...

No one in Ireland has to admire, or even like the British Royal family but the spleen on this site seems almost paranoid. No mention of the Spanish, Belgian, Norwegian and etc royal families. How come? We have no need to bow the knee to the Queen and the Brits have no need to bow the knee to Michael D. They have what they want and we have what we do. Can't we leave it at that without all this name calling?

Ahhh, we could but then we'd only have ourselves left to hate.

I've got a theory about women and the royals.

The royals can only maintain their present level of support, including the queen as head of state of Canada and Australia, due to female brain chemistry/biological evolution.

The gender that by far loses its sht the most when there is a birth or marriage is the ladies.
Women have a lifestyle more based around community and society and have been brought up with stories of princes, of marriages in castles and horses. The menfolk dismissing such trivialities as fa**otry.

The royals market themselves to the female electorate with planned well timed marriages and babies at key times related to staying as heads of state, a foreseen drop in the polls brings around an event before a plebiscite/campaign to drop them can gain enough ground.

Women and homosexual males see the alpha male and alpha female marrying or having a child and instantly deactivate their brains and activate emotions, theres a big day out with trumpets and carriages and all that disney sht, beans are flicked, two months later after a continuing barrage of glossy magazines featuring royalty the women go to the voting booths and vote pro-monarchy.

The queen does her little wave, laughs at the suckers and morphs back into her reptilian form, safe from rebellion and possible loss of her eggs for another few years. Of course they'll try again but she'll just activate a harry wedding, and has a harry child/birth as backup, that will leave enough time for her to grow her spacewings. Charles will take over the egg sitting duties at that time. The pope can only look on hungrily.
