Best place in Dublin to find musicians for original music?

Hi all,

New to Dublin as a middle aging quasi 38 year old, and would like to explore some original music opportunities while I'm here. (I'll at least be here until the end of August!)

Up from Limerick. Looking to get involved with something experimental/instrumental/and/or with lyrics. Perhaps something that involved some improvisation. I'm open....

It might suit someone of a similar age who is working, but who wants to keep the finger in the music pie.

I sing, play guitar, bass, mando, a bit of keys.

Would be interested in maybe a singing drummer, or keyboard player, or fiddle player, male or female.

I have been playing in original projects on and off over the years, and can PM links.

I'm into everything from Mastodon to Nick Cave to Low, Blur to Mogwai. Everything and anything, but tend to veer towards leftfield, experimental, feedback prone stuff.

Just feeling/teasing things out. I'm in Leixlip at the moment, but am hoping to get a place closer to the city soon. :cool:
