    Oddest thing today

I booked NCT 10 days ago and got an appointment for today. I got a mail confirmation and also a text.
Now this morning I couldn't get away so rang NCT to cancel.

The person tells me my car wasn't booked in at all. She didn't have the reg nor my details in the system.

Ok I just saved the cancellation fee but wtf?

That is a bit odd alright. I assume you booked online. I know it is very unlikely but is there any chance that you booked it on a site pretending to be the NCT to get your credit card details etc. I would keep an eye on my bank account just in case.

Is your registration number in the confirmation emai?

Mystery solved, like a chump I switched two numbers in the reg and didn't notice on the text :(
    Live and learn I suppose.
    Thanks guys

It's likely your credit card will be charged a cancellation fee for not showing.

    Lol, yeah

It's fine though, car needs more work anyway and there's no rush. Guess I'll have to chalk 22 euro up to "pay more attention next time.."

When you enter the reg, it puts up the make and model, and asks you to confirm it's the right car. Did you manage to switch 2 digits and hit on a car the same model and colour as yours?
