I threw up a post in the Facial Hair forum about where to go, but didn't get any replies.

I need a haircut and want to shave off my beard at the same time. Have had it for about a year and a half now and fancy a change.

Where would you recommend for it? I've been to The Waldorf for a haircut many a time, but have never had a hot towel shave and think this warrants it.

Without a doubt, the best place I’ve ever been to is ‘The Grooming Rooms’ on South William Street.

Would highly recommend, not just a dry cut but also go for the wash and consultation. They will access your hair type and advise on the best cut for you.

They also do beard designs, beard trims, hot towel shave etc.

I go to Sams Barbers on the quays. Brilliant cuts, and although I'm not one for the beard trims (:pac:) I've seen lads getting them and they are apparently very good at them.

It might be worth asking over on the Dublin forum, OP.

It's already in Facial Hair and The Gentlemen's Club, so whatever answers I get between those will have to do.

I'm leaning toward The Grooming Rooms though. Might be a nice treat.
