I see a lot of websites selling old classic football jerseys online these days. None of them have the sports manufacture on them but they have the sponsor and football crest.

How can they do this? Is there no copy right laws for this?

I must look up that football stickers case and see if it was incidental inclusion or not. Are they being sold as authentic or as some sort of novelty thing?

More likely passing off rather than copyright I would imagine.

To bring an action for passing off you have to show losses. As these clubs and manufacturers no longer sell these products it would be hard to ground but technically if they sued fir breach they would be entitled to the profits these imitations have made.
