Would a blue dot, silver blade catch brown trout?

    Would a blue dot, silver blade catch brown trout? I already caught and lost plenty of wild brown trout in my local lake with a mepps aglia silver blade. But I am wondering would the blue dot silver blade comet work the same as I lost my aglia in a snag while I was fishing today. I am wondering will it work as I am not able to get a new one before next week and I might go fishing.
