If you enjoy buying cr@p that falls apart go for it

It's not all bad. I bought some wardrobes over 10 years ago from them, moved 3 times since then and they are still in as good a shape as the day I got them.

Question: Do they still sell those little heart-shaped ginger biscuits? Last time I was there was about 2 years ago and they had a box of free samples on display. I normally hate ginger snap-type biscuits but these things were gorgeous.
Ikea logonberry jam is also quite nice on toast.

Ah be fair, you can't complain. Not after that funeral.

Bring toilet paper with you. There's loads of toilets there, no queues, but the roll is always empty.

They've loads of free paper measuring tapes. Slightly narrow, but they'd do the trick.

You should have gone tonight OP. 8pm on a Thursday and the place is deserted.

I wouldn't say you're mad, but you definitely have a screw loose.

Yeah I bought napkins there last year and they are still just as good now as the day I bought them

How long did it take to assemble them?

I must be extremely bored, but I need a few things from Ikea and am in a flat pack building mood! Is Ikea is still packed on Sundays? I know what I need so should be able to grab my stuff. I'm just not in the mood for queueing!

It never seems to be that busy these days, went on a Thursday after work and it was deserted. Sunday shouldn't be that busy. The tills take ages regardless of how busy the floor is.

Just take a drive into any industrial park and ask for any spare pallets, they'd be more than happy to offload a few hundred if you have a van and full tank of gas. From that you can make anything you want, hammer, nails and bit of sandpapering and quick a lash of wood coating, helps save the forests too.
