Are Touchscreen Laptops worth the money

I am considering buying a Dell Inspiron 15 5000-Series Laptop. It has an 5th generation intel i5 processor 8gb ram 1TB harddrive and a touchscreen for €649.

From comparing it to other laptops this is a very good deal but I'm a bit unsure about Dell. There's quite a few bad reviews about Dells touch pads being very dodgy.

Also I've heard mixed opinions on whether a touchscreen is great or not on a laptop because of the angle of a screen on a laptop.

Any opinions on Dell, Touchscreens and Laptops in general greatly appreciated.

The other laptop I am considering is a HP with an i3 processor

Pretty much all of the HP stuff apart from the Envy 17 and the Spectre x360 have shocking screens, so stay away.
