The Southampton double up (Alderweireld and Davis) worked a treat, accounting for over half my points!

a shocking statistic for you - i've never owned a southampton defender this season. that plus missing costa at start of the season are probably the two big mistakes of this season.

About Arsenal goal, why Sanchez wasn't awarded the assist? Because his shot got deflected then bounced off the head of another def and only then Ramsey scored the rebound?



And for the people who mentioned Austin had a similar case for him last GW, which goal was it?

That studge marked a new level on ridiculousness in what constitutes an assist. I guess here they feel that Sanchez was only attempting to score not play the ball to Ramsey so it doesn't count. If he had passed the ball then it hit the defenders leg then another's head then it would count.

26 with Hazard, Silva, Aguero, and Remy to play. Not too bad so far, moved back up a few thousand places to 32k to hopefully end my horrific run, but it's yet another captain fail.

My last four captain choices have scored 2, 1, 2, 2, so a combined 14 points coming from a month of captains. Disastrous.

21 (-4) from 6. The minus 4 was tactical though moving Foster for Migs this week instead of 34 to possibly gain by playing ahead of Myhill and is working so far.

Starting to seriously dislike Harry at this stage. Apart from one captain haul in Spurs DGW he has trolled me. Killing me when I didn't own him, average when I did and crap when I captained.

Down 1,000 or so to over 12k but Migs, Sturridge and Aguero are reasonable differentials along with Hazard and Terry so there's hope for this gameweek yet.

Which game and for what goal was it?
Same for the Austin goal or assist people were referring to yesterday?

I'd love to see them to address if there's a chance Sanchez gets it awarded.

Because I think FPL understanding of the rules is extremely cartesian. If a goal is scored from a (direct) rebound (e.g. block, save, post) an assist is given. And I'm afraid Ramsey goal came from a secondary rebound (Sanchez shot blocked then off the head of another def). But if there was a precedent we may have a chance (for Sanchez owners) and justice shall be restored!

I didn't even realise that Descartes was an FPL player, not to mind that he philosophised on it, :P

Man it would be just fine if Remy missed out today.
