I'm just wondering what happens when your credit card with Bank of Ireland is near its expiration date and you have nearly all your credit used up.  Is there not a new one automatically issued in that circumstance and are you still able to pay what's left in your agreed minimum payments even though the card has expired?

    Hi bpoleary,

    Thanks for your post.

Your current credit card is valid until the last day of the expiration month.

A renewal card will automatically be issued to the address on your account on the 1st week of the expiry month.

You can continue to make your agreed minimum payments.

We have an FAQ on credit cards that you might find useful here.

If you have any questions about your credit card, you can call Credit Card Services on 0818 251 251 / +353 56 7757747 and a rep will be happy to help.

Please let us know if we can help with anything else.

    Billy
