Transferring money from AIB account to US account

    Hi All,

    I am currently in the US and will be here for a while. I am looking at transferring money from my AIB current account to a new US account that I just opened.

    Just wondering what method you would recommend? Would I be better off using a non AIB service to transfer the funds?

    Yes you would be better off using a 3rd party.

    To confirm, are you transferring EUR to a USD account?

    Provided it is more than a small sum, you are best off using an online FX currency broker such as CurrencyFair.
