Iv heard about 3 different times for it at this stage, ill hopefully find out for sure tomorrow and ill post it up here, im only working off second hand information so dont hold me responsible if it all fails to happen!

Ei385 keeps coming up as EI387 in FR24 and as a result the real EI387 is shown as landed when its not.

He was going to the USA, then decided to divert back to Dublin, but on the way back decided not to so they turned around and continued back to the USA before deciding to divert again.

    That's clearly what happened.

Iarnrod Eireann usually take deliveries of their Engines on the AN124, not sure why the AN225 is in, must be something big.
For anyone who goes, try to get the take off, the noise and the ground shaking from underneath you like a mini earthquake and the way it looks like she is crawling into the sky, its brilliant

Only one engine was delivered in an AN and that was back in '94. They ordered 32 lomotives from the GM plant in London, Ontario. They wanted one loco delivered ahead of schedule, so that one was flown whilst the rest were ferried by sea.

It was very impressive as it was the heaviest single piece of air freight ever carried at the time, and probably not exceeded since. The even laid tracks inside the aircraft so the loco could be wheeled in an out. I did hear a tail that the floor of the aircraft deflected somewhat under the weight, but don't know if there was any truth in that

Wouldn't that be difficult to get from plane-road-train track

No as you can see it was rolled out from the aircraft onto its own rail line on a specialist trailer. Most likely after that they lifted by crane onto rails in the docks

If you're on here later, thanks to the f/o on the Stobart Air EI-FAT taxi-ing onto RWY10 at approx 18:10, you made my sons day when you waved back, he tried so many times and kept saying 'can I try one more dad' when the others didn't notice him.

Good stuff, keep us updated! My entire weekend hinges on this :)

I hope it isn't leaving at 11pm Sunday, thats a crazy time for spotters who have to work on Monday. Very selfish of the Antonov Design Bureau and their customers :pac:

Was just about to say this. Odd..very odd. I do get alarmed in situations such as this nowadays :(
