Yes. Go to Flightradar24 and click the little clock on the top right and go back to 7:10 on the 3rd as it nears Barcelona. I think it was ZB532 that you saw. Monarch aircraft (blue and white with a yellow tail)?

I think it was the Valencia to Prague flight TVS4EC

Yes thats my flight! I'm sure its the Valencia - Prague flight TVS4EC that crosses directly about 07 20.

Is there anyway to tell how far apart they were? and how far apart they should be?

All this is extremely fascinating btw.

If you click on the plane you can see its altitude;)

Looks like they were 36000 we were 35000!

We were 32000ft actually, looks like we just started descended a couple of minutes before crossing

Vertical separation minimum there would be 1,000ft afaik.

Pretty normal to be only 1000ft apart. You would rarely see it less than 1000ft due to it being unallowed.

Is that done automatically? or is it up to ATC or Pilot?

Two Lockheed L100-30 Hercules flying one after the other from Canada going over Malin Head now. Are these cargo planes or military?

C130 carry everything you can think of, they are like a 4x4 of the air force, most variants are unarmed, they Regularly visit SNN even today there was one there.

L100 are the civilian version of the Herc. Air contractors had 1 on the irish register EI-JIV.

Sometimes the lardy 777s make it that high too, they're cleared to 43 but I've never seen one make it there.

Ha, trust those snobs at BA to prove me wrong. G-VIID at 43,000 on 29th March.

They actually float higher than that but controlled airspace ends at 60k so they don't need to report actual altitude.

I'm trying to do the history link to the flight as suggested in post 1 but it doesn't seem to be working. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

French Navy Eurocopter EC225 over the English Channel. Very low altitude and possible search pattern.

That's some sort of test/training flight. Pretty common to see them off the west coast, alot do it from Shannon.

What type of aircraft is this likely to be? Seems to move around very strangely!
