    The worst cities, towns and villages in Ireland. Know any? I'll start. Kingscourt, Co. Cavan. What a pathetic excuse for a town. It only has one street going up and down. Should be bombed. Simple as.

    Arklow. If you don't roll up your windows and turn off your aircon as you drive thorough it, the depression might seep in and you'll end up just driving into the sea to end your misery.

    90% of towns around the Midwest are absolute sh*tholes.

    Rathkeale, Shannon, Limerick, Ennis, Newport, Abbyfeale, Kilrush, Gort, Sixmilebridge, Tipperary town, Tulla, Newcastle West are the ones that spring to mind immediately.

    Any time I have been travelling to festivals up in Meath and West Meath from Galway I always dread getting stuck in Mullingar, Mullingar's focal point either being Macdonalds, Super Valu or the Joe Dolan statue.

    Manorhamilton CO Leitrim. Lived there for 2 years.

    It's like it's caught in a timewarp and has a permanent dark cloud hanging over it.

    Some nice people there, but a horrible horrible place.

    I still have to pass through it on occasion, and I do so as quickly as I possibly can.

    I used to have to get the bus from Dublin to Galway when I was in university. I once had a minor existential crisis passing through Kinnegad. Let's not forget Moate either. A wretched place.

    Kilcock is another **** hole! Was quite ok as a kid , but the boom ruined it. Lots of empty retail units
