Basic instinct. The interrogation scene just wouldn't be the same.

    Priscilla, queen of the desert

    They could be drag kings

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Resevoir Bitches: Eight women meet in a diner and conspire to commit a major diamond heist. But by the time they've finished their coffee, the group has fallen out and half of them leave, and the other half are bitching about the others behind their backs.

The movie ends with a passive aggressive "we should do this again soon", but they never will.

Wouldn't the male equivalent be 'The Hangover'?

Was just thinking about the Graduate, in which a middle-aged woman seduces a teenage boy. Can you imagine if it became a middle-aged man seducing a teenage girl?

So, AH, what other movies would be made worse if the genders of characters were changed?

He wasn't exactly a teenage boy. He was a college graduate so that would kind of put him in his early 20's

Ferris Bueller's day off. Essentially would be a bunch of girls hanging out in a mall

An oft mentioned movie on boards but a great one nonetheless,Whitnail and I just wouldn't work with two women and an eccentric, predatory, gay, wealthy aunt as the main characters.Pissed drunk women are not funny. The film would end becoming one of those tearjerkers that they show during the afternoon on some of the sky channels.
If it was and adult feature,id probably have a glance at that for three or four minutes but not comic value

Its not my view of women buzz Killington , its the risk that a perfect movie of its type would be turned in a Clueless hybrid.

American Psycho, I don't think Patricia Bateman would be nearly as compelling viewing :D
Really? The femme fatale is a fairly well defined trope and the abject consumerism of the lead is arguably a more feminine trait anyway...

I could see a female version of Patrick Bateman working quite well on film tbh.

    Speed

They'd probably die because the man driving the bus would refuse to listen to the woman trying to save them.

Jackleen: "Quick, take this exit up here on the right so we can get off this freeway!!"

Arnold: "No, I know a quicker route...."

Jackleen: "But you'll put us into traffic and slow the bus dow......"

Arnold: "Will ya shut up and let me drive, woman!! Stop nagging me!!"
