Changes all the time. To Build A Home by Cinematic Orchestra is always a winner.

Would you lose the ability to walk or to pick stuff up?

Would rather lose the ability to walk.

Which would you rather be: deaf or blind?

I'd say I'd rather go blind.

One I heard earlier - someone offers you €250,000, but you would have to have your teeth replaced by clits for a year. You get your teeth back once the year is over. Would you do it?

Nope. They prolly wouldn't pay up anyway. But not even for ten million!

Do you know any dentists socially?

What is your opinion (if you have one) on the British Monarchy?

They are an irrelevance in British society, but they are a pretty handy tourist trap and money spinner.

Would you like if Ireland had a monarchy and revived the old High King set up?

Only if I became king and only because I could legitimately say, "hail to the king, baby"

Someone offers you ten million euro, but you have to be blindfolded and walk backwards for a year. Would you do it?

Yes. Everyone has a selling point, it's just a matter of the belief and quantity of zeroes involved.

Who deserved more coverage over their death? Paul Walker or Nelson Mandela?

Mandela had an impact on more people and therefore deserved more coverage.

Were you touched by the response to the death of Princess Diana?

Yeah, not surprising though. It was the perfect storm as far as news stories go - the People's Princess killed by the Paparazzi.

What time do you usually get up at?

As late as possible but generally 7.30 to get the kids to school and start work.

8:30am, which meant getting out of bed at 8:27am (prior to the little fella being born 3 months ago).

Did you have a BBQ/picnic somewhere yesterday?

Yes, it looks lovely...but am seeing it from deep within my office...so cant really enjoy it. :(

Would you go nuts from boredom if you did not have to work?

Well, the first time I was off work sick cos of illness that's when I ended up in psychiatric hospital, and definitely played a part :) If I had to now, I hopefully would be able to put enough strategies in place to be sure it doesn't happen again.

Do you have much storage in your house?

Yes, we have an attic and a shed. But once a year myself and Mrs Happy have a bit of a clear out...get rid of the stuff we just don't need.
But the attic has stuff up there....like a box of VHS tapes of stuff taped off TV.
They will never be viewed again, but cant be getting rid of them.

    Are you a hoarder?

My biggest accomplishment today was waking up at 5.30 for no reason and managing not to get back into bed for an hour between conference calls.

Do you have any stress in your life and how do you manage it?

Luckily life is relatively stress free at the moment. But work can get very stressful....not really sure how I cope with it but I am good at my job because I can handle the stress.

Do you raise your voice often/ever?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,813 ✭✭✭chrysagon

not really... no point in rising my voice when I can rise my boot !

    u need anger management?

Thankfully no. If anything I internalise a lot and don't vent on other people.

    Hammock or waterbed?
