    Question: how does a person make their accent more neutral? she found it the most difficult of all Irish accents.

    Slow things down and try pronounce your words more succinctly.....i've practiced this before on voice recorder, does help.;)

    Hadn't seen her since we broke up a few years back, after she cheated. We are both from down the country and I was down a bloody alley.

    It's like when you go on holidays abroad and you meet someone you know :D

    I know that even Irish people find my accent hard.I speak quickly and I've lived in London for 8 years, raised by a man from northern Ireland, lived in tipperary, Carlow, cork and limerick. It's all over the place. :D

    I had a similar experience with an ex appearing during a date two weeks back! Wasn't the best start to a date...

    Hahaha I'm afraid it's not green anymore. Got frustrated while doing a project on Friday so I dyed it pink and purple to cheer myslef up....it worked.....but the project still isn't done :/

    I know that I have to study etc feeling so I will find something, anything to do rather than the actual studying.
