A second one was scheduled. Possibly running a bit behind time.

The second is a Kalitta. It was earlier today when I saw the two of them due for this evening. Who knows could be late cancelled or gone tech.

Probably not the place, but this is the worst headline ever. Forget your daily mail, this is one of the worst I have ever seen.

I believe that's an in-built function on all Airbus aircraft that will initiate a rapid turn to avoid Cork...

They land at this time to avoid the odd cowboy politican.

Yep, around 6pm a Omni 767 departed SNN heading middle east direction, I lost him around northern Italy. I flew with them in the states years ago to Puerto Rico to vist the Mrs family, nothing fancy about the aircraft typical charter, 11 aircraft in the fleet 2 x 777 & 9 x 767

RWY28 used just 20mins ago for a Blue air. Is that maintenance going ahead or what?

The maintenance is happening between Sunday to Thursday

DAA still penny pinching versus getting the work done quicker, basically doing the work Monday to Friday so they don't have to pay extra for weekend work.

This is the longest 34 has been in use for ages. I hope someone does the decent thing and records the approach from the left hand side of the plane, I've yet to see any footage anywhere of a 34 approach :(

Sorry for delay, and yep, unfortunately I was on the RHS.

Very unusual to see a microlight on FR24. EI-FGB currently overhead Longford town.

For those in the know, how come other GA aircraft are not visible? I know of a few planes that are out at the minute with mode s and they are not there?

    Cheers

Mostly lack of coverage for low-level MLAT reception. Plenty of light aircraft at my local drome that only start plotting if they go on day trips to Liverpool when multiple receivers see them.

EI-FGB is unusual in having full ADS-B so only needs to be seen by one receiver. Off the top of my head I can only think of one other light aircraft so equipped in Ireland, an RV-7 up north.

I hope not. I only like seeing them during daylight hours.
