Pretty basic problem as far as problems with tech go but iv'e a surface 2 and the password to log into the tablet after it has gone into sleep mode, or when it is turned on from off mode requests a password.

I have gone to PC Settings - accounts - manage account - "never require password on wakeup" but no matter having saved those settings, the damn thing still requests a password every time.

    What am I missing here?

You might need to reboot to make the changes work.

    Reboot as in restart?
Or some other kind of system reboot ?
