Advice on a new machine please?

    Hiya Folks,
    I got rid of my Magister ES60 machine a while back and am starting to miss decent coffee now.
    I am looking for multi drinks machine as my other half is fond of the milky beverages.
    I have ruled out a tassimo/dulco gusto/nespresso as they don't seem to have the versatility I'm after and the cost of pods outweighs the convenience to my mind.

    So what I'm after is an espresso machine with a decent steam wand and straight away I know I'm going to get the Baby Gaggia and modified steam wand as a recommendation, which would be great apart from the current poor Euro/Stg exchange rate.

    So whats out there thats good at the moment, and ideally?
    Whats out there that can be picked up in Bricks and Mortar.
