    Hi everyone.

Having some problems with my car lately. My clutch has started to slip, its still drivable but can feel it getting worse.
In the last couple of days there has been a very bad grinding noise when I use the brakes, it gets louder and louder as you are coming to a stop. It also sounds like there is something loose spinning around as I drive along. Im wondering would it be the clutch thats making the noise or am I now facing getting both the clutch and the brakes looked at? Also how much is a clutch replacement these days? The car is a 2000 toyota corolla 1.4 vvti.
Any help would be greatly appreciated , thanks

grinding noise when clutch is pressed in would be your release bearing beginning to fail and should be fixed asap, and grinding brakes means your pads are worn away to bare metal and should also be replaced asap
