Whenever the goodies are going somewhere in a big city, to interview a suspect or whatever, they just park outside the door. You never see them driving around for half an hour looking for a parking spot or a multi story, then have to walk two or three miles to where they are going.

Can't count the number of films that has ruined for me.

Or they always remember where they parked their car in a strange carpark

B.A. Baracus gets punched multiple times but has no effect on him until he is about to get on a plane -

I'm expected to believe in a chase on foot, that a shoe lace never becomes untied. Bond would be much better if he raised up his hand to signal he had to tie his shoe.

6 foot plus criminal car jacks a 5 foot nothings car during a chase.

The setup of the drivers seat will perfectly accomodate his height and frame during the ensuing chase.

If you've never used a gun of any kind before, it's grand, you'll get to hold one and some ammo for the guy that is really skillfull with'em then later on you'll be well up for it, to the point you'll turn around to a rookie scornfully because they don't know what to do.

I'd argue that's it's nowhere near to the same extent, nor are the differences as vast.

Beautiful women don't go with er..."average-looking guys", eh? What about Gerard Kean and the gorgeous Lisa Murphy, so there?

Rifles can hold hundreds of rounds in a single magazine.

Take away coffee cups are always empty until you want to drink out of them.

Everything is flammable if you just bang it hard enough.

It actually matters if you reveal the government's terrible secrets to the press, and the public won't just forget all about it the following week.

Ripped men with 2% body fat drink beer, eat pizza and talk about things other than their diet and gym routines.

Funnny you should mention that, I really want to see a movie with everything that's been mentioned here.

    Except for Lisa Murphy.

Or when somebody is "hacking" into somewhere there is a lovely fancy interface with a big Enter Password dialogue box. Simply type in the easy to guess password and boom your logged on to a lovely menu where you can disable a nuclear missile from the click of a button.

Where do megalomaniacs get their henchmen? And how do the henchmen get health insurance? I can't imagine the VHI taking me on if I was employed in a dastardly plot to take over the world.

No, silly. It's all touch screens now. Mouse-clicks are so 1990's.

    Biggest lie in movies...

Person is saying something bad about their boss/teacher/girlfriend/whoever. Turns out the person they were talking about was standing behind them the whole time. Then they say "uh oh, they're behind me aren't they?" without even looking. I refuse to believe that such a scenario has ever happened.

When one police car crashes, 20 more will start to skid all over the place then join in thus creating a massive pile up, where the sirens of the stricken cars gradually slow down before stopping.

Some cars will also launch into the air at an angle of 45 degrees.

That exact scenario happened to a friend of mine in school. He could tell the headmaster was behind him by how pale our faces went.

Did he go "Uh, oh. They're behind me, aren't they" with a big thicko face?

that sharks are capable of plotting murder.
that all black people are into gun crime, hip hop and weed.
that the world didnt have colour until the 1930s.

That the guy always gets the girl in the end. In real life, that rarely happens and I think some teenagers can get overly high expectations from this cliché.

I found it amazing in Taken 3, how Liam Neeson walked away free despite the local police knowing he killed up to 100 people, including other police in the space of 3 days.

It did to me... We were mocking one poor lad who asked every girl at the disco for the shift... Everyone went quiet and I said "he's behind me right?" He gave me quite a legitimate bollocking...
