nice tea bags dublin

    Hi,

    Apart from supermarkets - is there any shops around Dublin city where i can get nice tea bags of better quality than the usual super market crap?

    Try Gurmans in St. Stephen's Green shopping centre (its now located where the calendar shop used to be).

    Moving to loose leaf teas makes it much easier to get nicer stuff (though I admit I still yearn for a Lyon's or Barry's occasionally).

    I know that there is a tea & coffee fair in the RDS, unsure of the date, try attending, try stuff there, get addresses, etc :) it could help (:

    Fallon and Byrne have a lovely selection of tea bags, many of the health food shops sell Pukka teas which are really lovely, I love the three mint but any I've tried are delicious.

    Palais De The on Wicklow St and Wall&Keogh Camden street are two great spots for buying loose leaf teas, yummy sushi in W&K, Clement and Pekoe if you want to sit in and sample first too!

    Big time. Even the Campbell's stuff from the supermarket is a lot nicer than the tea bags. I've tried Clive mccabes tea, it's pretty nice. Got it in avova once or twice. I'm not too much into berry teas etc., but a nice leaf breakfast tea is a winner every time.

    Bewley's loose breakfast tea is superb and not expensive. It's only sold in their own shops so not easy to get (I buy in bulk!).
