About 20 of us are going hoping to go down to Bracken Court Hotel in September and were wondering which courses from their partner golf clubs would Boards golfers recommend. We definitely want to play Portmarnock Hotel Links plus 2 others. Here's the list

    Balbriggan Golf Club
    Skerries Golf Club
    Roganstown Golf & Country Club
    Rush Golf Club
    Bellewstown Golf Club
    Sutton Golf Club
    Corballis Links Golf Club
    Donabate Golf Club
    Balcarrick Golf Club
    Clontarf Golf Club
    CastleKnock Golf Club
    Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links
    St Margaret’s Golf Club
    Hollywood Lakes Golf Club
    Luttrellstown Castle Golf Club

Balbriggan GC is obviously on your doorstep with the hotel. It's a nice course which was overhauled 4 or 5 years ago and is always enjoyable. Personally, going on quality of course alone from your list, I'd pick Luttrellstown and Castleknock. You could also make a case for Roganstown and St Margaret's if they're in good nick at the time.

With respect to them, I wouldn't be going near Bellewstown, Donabate, Skerries and a couple others which are ordinary enough.

Agree with previous poster.Corballis is a must and very reasonable on price.Try Laytown&Bettystown and even Baltray as with 20 guys you should definitely be looking for a discount if playing mid week.

    Portmarnock
    Luttrelstown
Roganstown or balbriggan would be my third choice.

If you are going to have some tough tracks among your choices then I'd highly recommend adding Castleknock as it is relatively (versus others on your shortlist) shorter, easy on the legs and among the best in Ireland for parkland conditioning.
