    Hi all

    mondeo 2008 petrol 1.6

bought last october , its the work chariot.

need to get it serviced but would like a full check on it.

is it worth going main dealer as theyre ford? or should i stick to a local mechanic and can the smaller garage provide same level of care?

    cheers for advice.

Indys can provide the same care as a dealer, usually at a better price. But do get a quote and an itemised service list by a Ford garage first and use that to get quotes from indys.
    You didn't give a location?

Thanks, in tallaght on weekdays. Ford are offering their 5 point service or some such, its about 140 euro i think on Airton road.

€140 for a Ford own service sounds very reasonable.
Then again, what is a 5 point service, no-one knows. Only an itemised list can tell.
