Suddenly my Samsung U32D6530 (Saorview approved) has lost sound on all TV channels except the RTE's also Channel 8 is now showing a caption stating that RTE+1 will no longer be available on Channel 8 from 24th March. Has there been a change in the Saorview transmission for Mount Leinster
Correction the sound on RTE Junior is also missing. I have tried a rescan same result

Check under audio settings that AD/NAR audio has not been set to on.
RTE Channels supplement the main audio on the narrative channels but the narrative channel on TV3/TG4/3e carry no audio.

Spot on khumbu, my audio was set to A. D. Premix AD reset it to English all sound restored.

Told Saorview, they had approx. 40 calls with the same problem.

If a channel does not have a separate narrative channel the they should duplicate the "English" stream onto the narrative feed. This would cure the problem without any need to adjust the TV

That would also help out (non saorview approved) Panasonic G10B owners who have to manually select non narrative audio each time tv is switched to TV3/TG4/3e/UTVI.

    Well Done 2RN

Someone finally fixed whatever saorview setting that had muted audio on TV3, TG4 UTVIrl & 3e when AD option enabled.....

This also fixed audio issue on these channels on Panasonic G10B.....
